Weekly Round Up 12 & 13th May 2018

This weekend saw us having mixed success over the two days with the weather playing a major factor in one of the games. We welcomed our new Australian Overseas for the 2018 season, Joseph Price and on Sunday he secured his first ton for the Peacocks. We continue to do well in all leagues across the board.


The 1sts took on Louth CC away and our 2nd team continued their campaign at home against Cherry Willingham CC.

1st XI vs Louth CC

1st XI were 248 for 8 off 50 overs.
Everyone in the team contributed with the bat.

Louth CC were 189 for 5 off 50 overs.
Joe Price being the pick of our bowlers with figures of 9-0-48-2

We won by 59 runs.

2nd XI vs Cherry Willingham CC

2nd XI were 194 for 7 off 50 overs.
Ash Shyam was scored his first 50 for the Peacocks.

Cherry Willingham CC were 40 for 2 off 14 overs

Unfortunately the match was abandoned after the rain stopped play.


Sun 1st XI vs Ancaster CC

Sun 1st XI were 244 for 6 off 40 overs
Joe Price – 117

Ancaster CC were 132 all out after 28.2 overs
Max Moor pick of the bowlers with figures of 0.5 – 0 – 0 -3

We won by 112 runs.

Sun 2nd XI vs Bassingham CC

We were 61 all out after 23.3 overs
Ben Plant top scoring with 13.

Bassingham CC knocked the score off in 22.1 overs

Bassingham CC won by 8 wickets.
