Weekly Round Up 7/8/9th May 2018

What an extremely busy weekend it has been for the Peacocks seeing the Bank Holiday taken up by cricket on all three days. It’s also been an extremely successful weekend for us seeing wins across all three days.


Our 1st team took on Bourne CC at home and our 2nd team travelled away to Nettleham. Both teams won there matches.

1st XI vs Bourne CC

1st XI were 188 all out.
Paul Cook hitting 51

Bourne CC were 119 all out off 45.3 overs.
James Kimber pick of the bowlers picking up 3 wickets.

We won by 69 runs.

2nd XI vs Nettleham CC

Nettleham CC were 85 all out
James Holden and Chris Pickering taking 3 wickets each.

We knocked the score off in 38.2 overs
Olly Humphreys top scoring with 22 runs.

We won by 1 wicket.


Sun 2nd XI vs Aisthorpe CC

We were 147 for 7 off 40 overs.
Ben Plant 22 and Oliver Stringer 23

Aisthorpe CC were 140 for 9 off 40 overs
Wickets picked up by a variety of bowlers.

We won by 7 runs.


Monday saw our 1st XI take part in a T20 competition with Sleaford and Lindum hosted at our ground. The team won both of there matches putting them through to the next round.

Sat 2nd XI vs Scothern CC (George Marshall Cup)

We were 163 all out from 30 overs
Ash Shyam scored 35

Scothern CC were 121 all out
James Ingamells taking 4 wickets

We won by 42 runs.

Really successful weekend for us and going into this next weekend we hope to continue the winning streak.
